WELCOME VISITORS!

Washington Babe Ruth [WBR] was split in 1987 and continues to represent two divisions; North and South; to preserve post-season opportunities for the prior Northern and Southern Washington organizations. Our focus is team recruitment, league chartering, identifying Districts and conducting state tournaments.

Web Site changes: The Northern Washington and Southern Washington websites are combined into this new site.

Who We Are: WBR represents Babe Ruth League, Inc., a New Jersey Corporation, in business since 1951. For decades, we have supported baseball for players 13-18 years old through local, independent, non-profit organizations serving as leagues. Babe Ruth Leagues operate within local geographical boundaries reflecting parent[s] or guardian[s] residence. WBR owns no portion of and do not control internal affairs of local leagues except as they pertain to Babe Ruth League, Inc. rules. A group of local leagues comprises a District. In turn, a group of Districts comprises our State Organization.

Local league Age Divisions: 13-16 Division and 16-18 Division. Post season provides the following competition:

13-Year-Old tournaments (State, Regional, and World Series)
14-Year-Old tournaments (State, Regional, and World Series)
13–16 Year-Old tournaments (State, Regional, and World Series)
16-18 Year-Old tournaments (State, Regional, and World Series)
