SportsEngine+Babe Ruth League are always looking to make things easier for League Admins and hopefully, with some of these changes, we
have done that.
We now have only 4 Memberships (which are
Free): 2025-26 Coach Membership; 2025-26
Non-Coach Volunteer Membership; 2025-2026
BRL Umpire Membership; and 2026 Player
Membership.
All Memberships can be obtained in the
following ways: (Click Here for Membership

• Sending Members a Direct Club Assignment
Important Notes:
• The only Staff Roles that are required in Season Management are Head Coach (also known as Manager) and Assistant Coach.
• Any Non-Coach Volunteer that has. ANY contact with a Player is required to have a Non-Coach Volunteer Membership through the League, with all eligibility requirements completed, in order to be compliant with Babe Ruth League rules.
• All Teams MUST be shared with Babe Ruth League, not just Tournament Trail Teams
• It’s a Leagues responsibility to ensure Coach and Non-Coach Volunteers are completing the required Background Screen and all eligibility requirements for Insurance as well as to ensure Player Safety.
If you don’t have registration and/or a SportsEngine website and are interested in learning more about that, please click here.
With the partnership between SportsEngine and Babe Ruth, using SportsEngine makes the process for submitting teams to Babe Ruth very
easy and offers partnership discounts.

League Presidents
Welcome to 2026 …Happy New Year
First off, let me thank you for all you do for the youth in Washington State Babe Ruth League..
I am looking forward to meeting all of you at some point in the future..Babe Ruth League would not be possible if it wasn’t for your hard work and diligence…I and my assistant state commissioners are here for you if you need any assistance, please don’t hesitate to ask…a few bullet point I need to stress …
1…Get your team registered in your league .I would like to see all teams into the system by May 15 if possible …
2. If any members of the coaching staff need to update their background checks, do it now. If you are a returning coach, you can go into your Sports Engine account, pay the $25 fee and submit your information. Your team information does not need to be first. Do not wait on this. I will be checking Sports Engine on a regular basis. If your background check is not current, you will not coach.
3. If you decide to enter the tournament trail, you need to be committed to play all the way through if you qualify. If not, do not enter. As soon as you can commit, please let me know by June 1 at the latest.
4. The State tournament is the full State. We have 2 guaranteed spots to Regionals. If other States do not send teams (June 1 deadline), we may have additional spots as well.
5. Cost sharing fee for State will be determined once we have a firm team count. The Regional cost sharing fee remains at $750.
6. Age determination. As per rule book requirements
7. Uniform patches. Babe Ruth patches need to be affixed about 2″ up on the left sleeve. If wearing a sleeveless jersey, place on the left chest.
No other baseball program patches should be on the uniform.
Please contact me if you have questions. League presidents, please pass on to any teams in your area that may be interested and have them contact me.
Thanks for supporting Babe Ruth Baseball.
